We thank Laurel Lambert-Schmidt for including single-payer national health care (Improved and Expanded Medicare for All) in her platform.

ISPC does not agree with Lambert-Schmidt's qualified support for the misnamed Affordable Care Act of 2010 (see position statement on front page of web site, 10/5/10).

We do look forward to continuing to work with her and with all pro-single-payer candidates for a health care system that gives all of us access to all necessary health care without the risk of financial disaster or even hardship.
