The Illinois Single Payer Coalition (ISPC) is comprised of groups and individuals throughout Illinois working to enact a single-payer system for financing health care. We seek coverage that is universal, equitably financed, not-for-profit, and publicly accountable, offering comprehensive health care and free choice of providers.

The Illinois Single Payer Coalition (ISPC) provides information about Illinois candidates who actively advocate for Single Payer Health Care. The ISPC does not endorse candidates.

• Is this a comprehensive list of every candidate in Illinois who advocates for Single Payer Health Care? Answer: No. The ISPC is a volunteer organization with limited resources. Our list is comprised of candidates who approched us and were accepted.
• How was the list of candidates compiled? Answer: The initial list was compiled by the ISPC business group. The ISPC business group is comprised of folks who volunteer to support ISPC operations.
• I have a local candidate who is running for Mayor of my town. How do I get my candidate listed? Should I write to the ISPC? Answer: Please have your candidate fill out the form located here. We need you to volunteer and contact the candidate. Therefore, instead of writing to the ISPC, please contact your candidate.
  
• I live in Wisconsin, what about nearby states? Answer: Since the ISPC is a volunteer organization with limited resouces, we currently restrict our list to candidates running in Illinois.
